I uploaded a new beat! I tried using a sample on my Logic Pro X to create this strings centered beat. This beat sounds, I think, cinematic. I can imagine a man or woman walking in the city with this sound background. This beat sounds old but new at the same time as the strings makes the mood of old time but the drum beat is distorted and sounds modern.
I found a strings sample on Iogi Pro X, so I cut it to create much simpler but powerful loop. Then I, at first, added a classic boom bap drum beat but it sounded...boring. It did not sound special. So I tried to go back to my style. Electronic sound with distortion and that was more like it!
Making music to me is always about dealing with coincidences. I always enjoy this experiment! Accidents are always fun.
When I finished this beat, I wanted to check if it can really work with rapping. So I mixed this beat with the acapella rap by NAS. And it worked! It sounded so natural.
